We’re Hiring! Seeking Sales Associate
Carpet Plus is looking for a hardworking and organized professional with an eye for design to complete our sales team! The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service throughout our proven no-pressure sales process.
This position will require intermediate computer knowledge and a strong interest in construction and design. Flooring experience is a plus. This is an hourly position which will require approximately 40 hours per week including some Saturdays. The position offers:
- Potential salary earnings of up to $60,000/year for the right candidate

Responsibilities include:
1) Managing all aspects of the sales process, from product selection to installation and follow-up correspondence
2) Multi-tasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced retail environment
3) Acquiring new clients including residential homeowners, homebuilders, and design professionals, and maintaining relationships with them
4) Keeping up-to-date with evolving industry trends so that you can help your customers make an informed purchase decision
5) Acting as an ambassador for Carpet Plus by networking with industry groups, local associations and business leaders
Qualified candidates will meet the following criteria:
1) High school diploma or equivalent
2) 3+ years of sales experience. Experience in construction or design a plus
3) A devotion to excellent customer service, strong organization skills and attention to detail
4) Exceptional interpersonal, networking and verbal/written communication skills
5) Self-motivated, with a willingness to continually learn about dynamic industry trends
6) Some familiarity with MS Office and other enterprise software systems
7) An interest in design
